If you would like to apply for a grant, please read our How to Apply section below.
Our current priorities include social welfare, youth, skills and employment, heritage, arts and environment.
About us
The Millichope foundation was founded in 1982 as a grant making charity by Lindsay and Sarah Bury, who wished to support the causes that were close to their interests in conservation, the arts and the welfare of Shropshire residents.
It remains a family foundation and since its inception has provided over 10 million pounds in grants to various causes.
In recent years, the trustees have made the decision to direct the majority of funding to support local and regional causes. This is to compensate for the decline in other sources of funding in the region.
