Please read carefully the below criteria BEFORE making an application for funding.

We do not accept application from the following organisations:

• Charities registered outside of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland  

• Organisations with a status other than registered charity or a CIC.

• Charities who have applied to us unsuccessfully in the past 12 months 

• Charities who have received a grant from the us in the past 12 months. If you have recently received a grant from the us, please wait 12 months from the grant offer date before reapplying. 

• Newly established charities that cannot provide a full year of accounts 

• Individuals – including applications made by an organisation on behalf of an individual, or where the grant will only have one beneficiary 

• Political, statutory or animal welfare organisations 

• Medical charities, or charities supporting medical research

• Village Halls or community spaces - these are covered by our Shropshire Community Spaces Fund, administered by Shropshire Community Foundation, and can be applied for through www.shropshirecommunityfoundation.org.uk

• Churches - these are covered by our grant to Shropshire Historic Churches Trust and can be applied for through www.shropshirehct.org.uk

All national and international grants are made via the trustees own directed grant making and we do not accept unsolicited applications from these organisations.
